Renesas aims to triple its power business by 2030, leveraging a broad portfolio of power management ICs, discrete devices, and wide-bandgap technologies (GaN, SiC) to address megatrends such as electrification, energy efficiency, and AI-driven systems
Our group Automotive System Power within the Power group focuses on Intelligent Power Devices (IPDs) and High-Side Switches (HSS), which are critical for next-generation automotive ECUs, centralized architectures, and EV/Hybrid platforms. These products enable safe power distribution, diagnostics, and protection, reducing complexity and improving reliability in modern vehicles
