Post Office Assistant (Term)
Canada Post is currently seeking an on‑call Post Office Assistant (Term) in Saint‑Donat‑de‑Montcalm, QC (also covering Lantier). This role involves providing counter services to customers with a customer‑focused approach.
Job Responsibilities
- Sell postal products and services to the business community and public
- Sort, distribute and process mail into appropriate classifications
- Provide customers with information and forms
- Address delivery and service difficulties to resolve problems thoroughly and quickly
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Lift mail containers of up to 50 lbs, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for extended periods
