Offer Description

Activities: The post‑doctoral researcher will be responsible for integrating and standardizing agronomic, climatic, and crop management databases; applying statistical methods to identify the main factors driving yield gaps; estimating productivity frontiers and crop responses to management practices; developing agronomic recommendations; and publishing research findings in peer‑reviewed scientific journals.

Mandatory requirements: Ph.D. in Crop Science, Plant Production, Agronomy, or a related field, obtained within the last seven years. Demonstrated research experience in cropping systems, evidenced by peer‑reviewed scientific publications. Experience in data analysis and modeling using R and/or Python. Knowledge of statistical analysis applied to agronomic research. Proficiency in English for reading scientific literature and writing scientific manuscripts.
