Polysomnographic Technologist

Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the unit manager and under the supervision of the Sleep lab supervisor, the ACH Polysomnography Technologist (PSG Tech) performs sleep studies on children who are experiencing a variety of sleep disorders. They will be responsible for performing and scoring PSG sleep studies, both diagnostic and treatment, on children in an outpatient environment. You will need to show proficiency in the assessment and titration of ventilator settings in multiple modes of assisted ventilation. The PSG Tech observes and notes clinical phenomena occurring during testing, recognizes and eliminates causes of biological artifacts, operates computers for acquisition, and inputs data information accurately. You must be able to recognize the need for oxygen administration and possess the ability to set up and titrate oxygen and activate emergency processes if required.
