Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain PLC systems used in marine applications
- Troubleshoot and repair automation systems onboard ships and offshore platforms
- Monitor and maintain control systems for engines, pumps, compressors and cargo systems
- Interpret electrical drawings, control schematics and PLC logic
- Perform diagnostics on HMI, SCADA systems and communication networks
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of control panels and instrumentation
- Support system upgrades, retrofits and commissioning activities
- Ensure compliance with marine safety standards and regulations
- Coordinate with onboard engineers, shipyard teams and OEM vendors
- Maintain detailed service reports and technical documentation
