PLC & Scada Engineer - Water or Wastewater Treatment projects

The PLC & SCADA Engineer will design, develop, test, commission, and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for water and wastewater treatment plants. The role involves integrating instrumentation, electrical systems, VFDs, analyzers, and field devices to ensure reliable and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and program PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems as per project specifications
• Develop control philosophies, I/O lists, network architecture, and automation documentation
• Configure communication protocols including Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and OPC
• Develop SCADA graphics, alarms, historical trending, reporting, user access, and security features
• Conduct FAT, SAT, I/O testing, loop checks, commissioning, and plant start-up support
• Troubleshoot automation, instrumentation, and communication issues
