Responsibilities
Develop and design control systems and implement bench tests.
Validate and alter software and equipment to ensure sensors and actuators function according to specifications.
Support and debug complex problems and change requests.
Develop and prepare cost estimates; compile required cost and equipment information; write and review appropriation requests.
Investigate project problems and requirements, and develop solutions considering economic, personnel, and environmental factors.
Develop and validate installation and technical support for PLC-based hardware and software.
Verify and define clear control system specifications and work with OEMs.
Create detailed control system design reviews and secure approvals.
Develop, install/startup, and modify PLCs; perform handshaking verification and troubleshooting with OEMs.
