Responsibilities
- Develop and design control systems and implement bench tests.
- Validate and alter software and equipment to ensure sensors and actuators function according to specifications.
- Support and debug complex problems and change requests.
- Develop and prepare cost estimates; compile required cost and equipment information; write and review appropriation requests.
- Investigate project problems and requirements, and develop solutions considering economic, personnel, and environmental factors.
- Develop and validate installation and technical support for PLC-based hardware and software.
- Verify and define clear control system specifications and work with OEMs.
- Create detailed control system design reviews and secure approvals.
- Develop, install/startup, and modify PLCs; perform handshaking verification and troubleshooting with OEMs.
