Grade B – £28,598 – £34,434, Permanent, Working 36.5 hours per week.

Do you have practical skills in maintenance, repair, and a passion for ensuring safe and high‑quality play spaces for children and families? We are looking to recruit a number of Playground Technicians to join Birmingham’s Parks and Play Service. You will play a key role in the inspection, maintenance and repair of playgrounds and associated park infrastructure across the city, helping to ensure our play spaces are safe, compliant and well maintained.

Working under the direction of the Parks and Play Technical Officer, you will deliver routine and reactive maintenance, carry out safety inspections, and undertake repairs to playground equipment and park furniture in line with relevant European Standards and RPII Operational Inspection guidance.
