Platform Engineer

Position: Platform Engineer

Reports to: Cloud Platform Lead

Purpose: Harmoney runs a mature cloud platform on GCP that powers our consumer lending platform. We're growing our Platform Engineering practice and you will help shape it. This high‑leverage role involves operating and evolving the platform while laying foundations for safe AI adoption.

Responsibilities

• Enable safe AI adoption: build foundations that allow responsible AI innovation, including vendor discovery, security reviews, AI observability, cost visibility, and guardrails.
• Deliver platform capabilities: support initiatives such as API overhaul, governance of customer auth systems, platform operations, and technical debt reduction.
• Maintain scalability and stability: run platform and infrastructure upgrades, improve security, and develop reusable infrastructure patterns.
