Overview
Perform installs, diagnostics, and repairs in the areas of fabrication, hydraulics, engines, drivetrains, electrical, and mechanical on potato planting and planting support equipment.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform preventive maintenance services as needed.
- Repair diesel-powered engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, and a wide variety of miscellaneous mechanical repairs.
- Assist co‑workers in the shop and in the field.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
- Follow directions from supervisors or managers.
- Clearly fill out job inspection and completion forms in English.
- Follow all required safety procedures and guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Work outdoors continuously all day in various and sometimes extreme weather conditions.
