Responsibilities
- Lead the plant engineering team to achieve all business objectives including safety, quality, continuous improvement, production, profitability, customer service, and other internal metrics, consistent with World Class Manufacturing principles.
- Supports all aspects of production processes including safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale and drive successful implementation of WCM processes and standards.
- Manage all facility engineers, buildings, grounds, parking lots and equipment.
- Manage engineering and capital projects.
- Manage outsourced contract and construction activities.
- Prepare project appropriations and capital plans.
- Review daily expenditures and follow up on anomalies.
- Write projects to replace, upgrade or refurbish tooling and equipment.
- Work with various disciplines to support / lead World Class Manufacturing and make continuous process improvements.
