Position Summary

The Value Chain Optimization (VCO) team has an opening for a Planning & Optimization Engineer for the West Region. This role reports through the VCO organization to the West Strategic Mid-Term Planning Director. The successful candidate will work closely with the Value Chain members to optimize the long-term profitability of the West value chain.


This individual will gain a more holistic long-term perspective of Marathon profitability and engage in cross-functional interaction with the Business Development team, Clean Products team, Crude and Feedstocks teams, Marketing, Refining-including Asset Development, and MPLX.
