Piping Design Lead (Calgary)

Responsibilities

• Promote a robust safety culture throughout project execution
• Ensure designs comply with:
  • ASME B31.1
  • ASME B31.3
  • Applicable provincial/state regulations
  • Client engineering standards
• Participate in HAZOPs, risk assessments, and constructability reviews
• Ensure quality management procedures are followed
• Planning, allocating and reviewing work programs
  • Update ForecastWeb weekly and maintain alignment with Project/Program Manager
  • Update forecast to current project plans; communicate changes via change management
• Prepare weekly progress reports for each project
  • Include work completed, work planned for following week, discipline needs
• Update project schedule weekly; mark tasks completed, in progress, potential delays; ensure tasks listed correctly
