Pipeline Technician

About the Role

Plains is an industry‑leading transportation and midstream provider specializing in storage, processing and marketing solutions for crude oil in the United States and Canada. We are seeking a Pipeline Technician to support operations, maintenance, and projects on our pipeline system in the Slave Lake area.

Responsibilities

• Flexible and willing to work within pipeline/truck terminal operations and provide project support.
• Basic understanding of pipelines, pump stations, pigging and storage facilities.
• Able to perform minor maintenance duties with pumps and piping, demonstrating mechanical aptitude.
• Able to work independently or as a team member with minimal supervision.
• Able to conduct daily duties that consist of pipeline pigging, sampling, housekeeping including shoveling snow, cleaning buildings and yard maintenance, LOTO’s and drain downs.
