Pipelayers are essential in driving production on site and in the trench. They are expected to have demonstrated competency to a supervisor, or designated mentor, in all Core Responsibilities of a Labourer. It is an expectation they adhere to the policies outlined in Hall's HSE and are an active participant in site organization and safety.
Core Responsibilities
- Drive production of the crew
- Mentor/train labourers & pipelayers
- Direct machinery
- Read drawings
- Identify soil types
- Understand correct amount of gravel placement around pipe prior to backfill
Qualifications
- Years of experience: Minimum 2
- Education: High School or Equivalent
