Under the general direction of the Program Manager, the Physiotherapy Assistant/Occupational Therapy Assistant (PTA/OTA) is responsible and accountable to provide person‑centered care for assigned patients/clients under the direction and supervision of the regulated health professional (supervising clinician) and performs associated functions to support service delivery.
As a member of a team, the PTA/OTA participates in profession‑specific and interprofessional activities that are directed towards a person‑centered environment and contribute to operational efficiency and professional and program development.
