PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT, EMERGENCY

The Physician Assistant (PA), Emergency, provides a variety of clinical duties and responsibilities within the PA scope of practice as defined by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC). Responsibilities include obtaining patient histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, initiating treatments, and performing procedures in collaboration with and under the supervision of the on‑shift emergency physician.
