PhD Researcher in Platform Labour & Migration Studies

The Swedish School of Social Sciences at the University of Helsinki invites applications for a fixed-term Doctoral Researcher in the Social Sciences for 3.5 years starting on 1 October 2026 as part of the MAPS project.

The successful candidate will conduct independent ethnographic research on platform labour in Finland, develop novel methods, and aim to defend an article-based PhD while contributing to project communications and events; teaching up to 5% of annual working time.
