PhD Research Fellowship in AI Safety & Deployment

SimulaMet in Oslo invites applications for a 3-year PhD Research Fellowship focused on safety and security evaluation of deployed AI systems. You will develop methods and tools to evaluate, red-team, and monitor AI systems as they are deployed, with emphasis on open, vendor-independent instruments and collaboration with regulators and auditors.

Successful candidate should have a Master’s in CS or related field, strong ML/data science background, Python proficiency, and excellent English.
