The IMDEA Networks Institute offers one fully funded PhD position in the area of Low-power IoT sensing at high frequency bands. The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing activities of the Wireless Networking Group, in the framework of MSCA SpecX Project.

Research objectives:

Low-power RF front‑end design to monitor mm-wave spectrum for IoT communication and sensing applications with orders of magnitude less energy consumption than current solutions. Leverage large bandwidth at mm-wave to deploy several mm-wave IoT devices in dense deployments that can coexist for performing spectrum sensing.
