Pharmacy Assistant (Quarry Park)

Overview

Calgary Co-op Pharmacy Assistant position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and assists with dispensing prescriptions and administrative duties to increase the pharmacist's opportunity to provide patient care.

Responsibilities

• Follow the customer care and service standards of the Calgary Co-op.
• Interact with customers and employees in a positive manner to enhance services and create a healthy work environment.
• Assist in the operation of the Pharmacy Department within the guidelines of the Alberta Pharmaceutical Association and the policies and procedures of the Calgary Co-op.
• Utilize a high degree of concentration when assisting in filling prescriptions, ensuring attentiveness to detail and accuracy.
• Assist the pharmacist in the preparation of prescriptions.
