Responsibilities:
Responsible to dispense drugs to the inpatient , outpatient , and A&E Patients including reviewing physician prescriptions for accurate therapeutic doses, drug-drug interaction, duplication of the same class, etc.
Ensuring timely delivery of medication to nursing units and patients.
Ensuring the accuracy of the label before dispensing.
Accurate and timely completion of expiry drug list .
Patient counselling for outpatient prescription, refund and maintenance of cash.
Participate in inventory audits and stock verification activities, ensuring accurate reconciliation of pharmacy inventory records and compliance with inventory control procedures.
Job Specification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (Pharm-D preferred), registered with the Pharmacy Council.
1-3 years of experience.
Strong knowledge of medications, interactions, and dosage requirements.
Excellent communication and patient-counselling skills.
