Pharmacist

Overview

This Pharmacy Technician position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for receiving, preparing, dispensing, and delivering prescription medications accurately and timely while maintaining adequate inventory, providing patient counseling, and supporting pharmacy operations including vaccinations, medication reviews, and other pharmaceutical services.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels of medications and over‑the‑counter supplements.
• Provide patient counseling regarding medications and new prescriptions in a friendly, proactive manner.
• Create awareness and educate customers through public relations activities such as public health days and clinics.
• Administer vaccinations and other activities as legislated by the Pharmacist Scope of Practice Program.
