Description
- Provide pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical care for the residents and clients of the organization in accordance with professional practice and standards promoting safe and appropriate use of drugs in resident care
- Compound, dispense and distribute medications and other pharmaceuticals to residents from prescriptions issued by physicians, dentists and other qualified practitioners.
- Perform other duties as required/assigned.
Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University is required.
- Must hold membership in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacists.
- Membership in the following groups is considered beneficial: Pharmacists Association of Alberta, Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists, American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (Canadian Chapter).
