Pharmacist Assistant - Qualified Post-Basic

Role Summary

The incumbent will be responsible for the provision of medication and supplementary services to patients and members of the healthcare team under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist. The Pharmacist Assistant will also assume responsibility for meeting patients needs in a responsible, satisfactory and cost‑effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: monitor and improve Internal Customer Service Survey; advise patients and team on medication usage, side effects, contraindications, interactions, and storage.
• Advising on General Health Matters: effective use of medicines, primary health care, screening, essential medication, mother and child healthcare, family planning, immunisation.
