We are seeking a compassionate caregiver for a 92‑year‑old gentleman living independently in his home in Brampton. He is sociable, previously a business professional, and enjoys spending time with friends at the Legion and with his girlfriend. He has short–term memory decline, reduced stamina after recent hospitalizations (including two falls), and he is planning to give up his driver’s licence next spring. He sleeps extensively, sometimes skips meals (particularly supper), and occasionally misses evening medications from his dosette pack. His grooming has slightly declined, but he remains largely independent with bathing and personal care. He may resist discussing health concerns and tends to downplay pain or illness, so an experienced PSW who can read between the lines will be essential.
