Position Summary
Payroll Team Lead ensures successful payroll operations, compliance, training, data analysis, controls, audits, and reporting. The Payroll Team Lead ensures adherence to established policies and procedures so that payroll is completed accurately and on time for all employees. The role is accountable for appropriate tax submissions, benefits contributions, T4 and W-2 reconciliations and serves as a backup to the Manager, Payroll. In addition, the Payroll Team Lead will take a key role in system configuration, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives, including the adoption of AI-driven tools to modernize payroll processes.
Travel to Office Expectations
- For Remote Roles: If this role is remote, there will be in-office events that will require travel to and from the Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City office. These will include, but not limited to, onboarding, team events, semi-annual and annual team meetings.
