Team Overview
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end administration and execution of payroll operations for employees in Mexico, ensuring compliance with Mexican labor laws, tax regulations, social security obligations, and internal company policies. This role owns the full payroll lifecycle, from employee onboarding through offboarding, while partnering with HR, Finance, Tax, Benefits, Legal, and external payroll vendors to deliver accurate and timely payroll processing.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage complete Mexico payroll cycles including semi-monthly, off-cycle, bonus, special payrolls, finiquitos, and liquidaciones.
- Collect, validate, and reconcile payroll inputs, time and attendance, finance, and payroll vendors.
- Perform gross-to-net validation, payroll balancing, variance analysis, approvals, funding coordination, payroll execution, and payroll close activities.
