About our Client
Our client is a well recognized company, looking for an experienced payroll specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will need experience with end to end payroll preferrably having worked in a standalone role previously, and also have experience with year-end processes. This role is based in the CBD with hybrid working arrangements available. This role is initally a two-month contract with the view to permanency for the right candidate.
Job Details
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working autonomously in the payroll space, you will be responsible for:
- Processing a payroll of approx. 250 full time, part time and casual staff
- Leading year-end payroll processes including STP and tax filings
- Retail and clerical award interpretation
- Processing annual leave, sick leave and adjustments
