The Position
Sharp & Carter are partnering with a global organisation to recruit a payroll professional. This position is based in the Gold Coast, offering on-site parking and working within a large payroll team. This is a permanent full-time role.
As the Payroll Officer, you will ensure accurate, timely payroll delivery while providing exceptional customer service to employees and managers. You will partner closely with the business to develop a strong understanding of awards, agreements, and pay complexities, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll ensuring accurate calculations for 4000 + employees;
- Audit and analyse payrolls to ensure legislative, tax, superannuation, and award compliance;
- Prepare and manage reports, reconciliations, and other internal payroll requirements;
