Responsibilities

Manage a team of 3 payroll professionals; provides training and coaching to team members and assists in monitoring workloads and high standards of work, quality and organizational performance is achieved. Manage and guarantee weekly and bi‑weekly disbursement of multi‑province payroll. Complete payroll programming for collective agreements and understand the urgency with regard to union requirements. Interpret collective agreements and ensure compliance to annual changes. Serve as subject matter expert in payroll for UKG configurations, ERP implementation, other payroll projects including being part of various project teams and acting as project lead as required. Make improvements to payroll set‑up. Collaborate with HR, Finance, Regional General Managers, District Managers and Branches.
