In this role, you can expect to:
Supports Annual, Quarterly, Monthly and Semi-monthly Payroll Cycles:
Process full cycle semi-monthly payroll for salaried and hourly employee for review.Prepare tax forms such as T4s.Maintain employee payroll records and update changes.Provides support in the calculation and input of all payroll entries, including prior period adjustment, new hires, termination, etc.Prepare and issue Record of Employment (ROEs).Assist with year-end procedures and tax filings.Prepare reconciliations, payments, and payroll changes relating to various extended health benefit carriers.Apply pay policies, (e.g., vacation, LOA, disability, workers compensation, government regulations, withholding exemptions, etc.) and ensures appropriate amounts/deductions are calculated and applied to the various accounts correctly.
