Overview
The Payment Resolution Officer analyzes and resolves payment issues for the North America region. The role acts as a subject matter expert for payments, identifies opportunities for continuous improvement, and provides support to AP processors for escalations on Accounts Payable transactions.
Responsibilities
- Enter wires accurately according to payment instructions
- Print and mail cheques
- Resolve domestic wire/EFT issues and return payments
- Maintain wire tracker, payment runs, and stale dated voids
- Assist with cheques for deposit and investigate origins for correct allocation
- Respond to inquiries through the generic mailbox promptly, within SLA
- Investigate payment outages
- Prepare reporting and assist with audits
