Role: Pattern / Mould Maker
Description of role
- Take receipt of pattern assembly technique from Design Department.
- Confirm pattern manufacturing route. SLA pattern, Styrofoam pattern, sand print mould.
- Manufacture pattern as per route card issue number / rev number.
- If Styrofoam pattern is to be manufactured generate CAM tool paths using Autodesk Powermill.
- Transfer tool paths to CNC machines in Pattern shop and manufacture parts.
- If SLA pattern is to be manufactured, complete SLA build set up using Lightyear and Magics software.
- Post build SLA clean ups.
