The Waterloo Catholic District School Board serves over 38,000 learners and provides services to students in 50 schools (Kindergarten to Grade 12 and adult learners) across the Waterloo Region.

Overview

Reporting to the Manager of Enterprise Client and Data Platforms, the incumbent will create, design and manage data interfaces and structures using standard Microsoft methodologies SQL/XML/JSON.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the Board's data and reporting platforms, including SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Microsoft Azure data services, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric in both on‑premises and cloud environments
• Act as a leading technical expert in the field of system interfaces, data mining, design, development and automation as it applies to educational systems and models
