Position Description
The Parts and Service Coordinator supports the North Star Mechanical team across all branch locations. This role ensures accurate part orders, maintains inventory, and provides exceptional customer service experience. The position is based in Edmonton and reports to the Operations Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prioritize and organize all branch and customer inquiries related to service and parts.
- Negotiate parts and services from vendors to secure the best value.
- Coordinate and order parts to maintain adequate inventory while minimizing costs.
- Manage the work order process with the Shop Foreman, ensuring all procedures are followed correctly.
- Coordinate the supply of parts to shop mechanics.
- Update the rental system with equipment repairs and service information daily.
- Contact customers regarding equipment repair needs, including damage assessments and service updates.
