Duties and Responsibilities
- To strives for a satisfactory return of profit on dealer capital invested in parts inventory.
- To accomplish objectives using proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, staff utilization, stocks storage and security, pricing, merchandising and promotions.
Administrative Function
- Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
- Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all parts department staff.
- Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the parts department.
- Monitors all parts related reports to maximize productivity, especially those required to submit to Distributors.
- Develops and utilizes a lost sales tracking report.
- Assists in the collection of past‑due accounts.
- Maintains professional appearance.
