Part Time Registered Practical Nurse St. Catharines

Enhance nursing care at Extendicare St. Catharines as a Part Time Registered Practical Nurse. This evening position focuses on resident care management, vital sign monitoring, and collaboration with staff and doctors.
As a permanent part-time RPN, you will support the Director of Care by improving the quality of nursing practice in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards. Your role will include assessing residents, developing care plans, and leading personal care staff for effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care according to established nursing standards and guidelines
• Assist in assessing residents’ health and develop care plans
• Direct and evaluate personal care staff on the unit
• Prepare the facility for RAI MDS submissions
• Manage medication passes accurately and timely
Requirements:
• Valid certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
