NYU Prague is seeking a lecturer to teach Modern Jewish History, an in-person course for undergraduate students of New York University, beginning in Spring 2026. This course provides students with a framework for understanding the cultural, political, religious and legal contours of Jewish life in Europe. The main focus of the class is on Central Europe.
Candidates should hold an advanced degree in modern history or a related field, have demonstrated experience teaching the topic of modern jewish history at the undergraduate level, and possess the ability to engage a diverse and international student body. Recommendation letters are welcome in support of applications.
