Part-Time K-5 Coding Instructor

Newbridge Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Coding Instructor to lead weekly coding and computational thinking classes for our Kindergarten to Grade 5 students during the 2026–2027 school year.This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who enjoys making technology accessible, creative, and fun while helping students develop problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and confidence with digital tools.ScheduleThursdays: 1:15 p.m. – 2:35 p.m.Two classes each week: Kindergarten–Grade 2 and Grades 3–5Class sizes of approximately 10–15 studentsResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate coding lessons using hands-on, project-based activities.Introduce students to computational thinking, sequencing, problem-solving, and basic programming concepts through games, robotics, visual programming platforms (e.g., Scratch Jr., Scratch), and other interactive tools.Foster creativity, collaboration, and perseverance as students design and build their own digital projec...
