Join EXTENDICARE OSHAWA as a part-time Dietary Aide in our long-term care facility. Share your culinary skills by assisting with meal preparation and serving to enrich residents’ dining experiences.
In this casual role, you will report to the Dietary Manager and help ensure that meals are served according to individual dietary preferences and standards. Your responsibilities include food preparation support, cleaning kitchen areas, and maintaining food at appropriate serving temperatures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve food according to individual diets and preferences
• Assist Cooks with washing and preparing salads and vegetables
• Clear plates and operate the dishwasher effectively
• Participate in proper storage and labeling of food supplies
• Assemble nourishment carts and stock kitchenettes

• Previous experience in dietary services preferred
