The School of Architecture at Dalhousie University invites applications for a Part-Time Academic Instructor position in the Master of Architecture degree program. The is a professional two-year graduate Architecture degree. Students complete a Pre-Professional Bachelor degree before enrolment.
The Instructor will teach a first-year, 6-credit advanced graduate design studio and is responsible for studio development, lectures, critiques, assessment, and grading. Graduate design studios explore complex design problems through critical inquiry, iterative development, and integrated design processes. Students develop comprehensive architectural proposals that synthesize conceptual, spatial, technical, environmental, and material considerations while engaging contemporary issues in architecture and the built environment.
