Job Duties

• Remove exterior trims and hardware.
• Identify and evaluate all painting surfaces to determine the proper level of repair.
• Identify and apply corrosive‑resistant primers and topcoats for fiberglass and plastic.
• Sand, spot fill, and condition areas of repair.
• Mask and tape for multi‑tone work or to protect areas that do not require painting.
• Apply primers, acrylic enamel, polyurethane, base coat, transparent coat, and other types of paint using spray guns.
• Mix paint to blend and match colours.
• Dry or bake newly painted areas.
• Apply decals, transfers, stencils, specialty refinishing, and detailing.
• Other duties as required.

Successful Candidates Possess

• Red Seal Technician preferred, or 2-3 years of automotive painting experience.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
