Paint/Retail Sales Associate
Core Responsibilities
- Customer Consultations: Guide customer on choosing the correct paint types, finishes, primers, and brushes for their specific surfaces.
- Color Blending: Operate automated tint dispensers, and mechanical paint shakers to create custom formulas.
- Merchandising: Stock heavy paint cans, organize all inside departments electrical, plumbing, seasonal etc
- Department Upkeep: Keep a clear and organized work station. Maintain stock levels on retail floor.
- Order Processing: Take phone orders from contractors, calculate material quantities, and finalize sales at the cash register.
Key Requirements
- Physical Strength: Ability to repeatedly lift, stack, and carry 1-gallon and 5-gallon paint pails weighing up to 60 pounds.
