We are seeking a skilled Field Engineer specializing in OTDR testing and Fiber optic troubleshooting. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize Fiber optic links on-site for top-tier clients like Amazon and Google. Extensive travel is a key part of this role, with assignments lasting up to two weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct OTDR testing for Fiber optic diagnostics
• Identify and assess Fiber cable damage with OTDR equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair Fiber links at customer sites
• Operate EXFO and JDSU OTDR machines
• Ensure compliance with Fiber optic testing standards
