Position Summary
We are seeking a General Orthopaedic Surgeon (new graduates welcome) with skills in primary total hip arthroplasty (THA) and primary total knee arthroplasty (TKA). This role includes running a fracture clinic once a week and delivering general orthopedic surgical care at Dawson Creek & District Hospital, Dawson Creek, BC.
Estimated yearly remuneration: $400,000+ (fee for service). Additional benefits include a MOCAP Level 1 On-Call and MSP Premium of 23.10%, a $35,798.40 annual bonus (flat fee), a $20,000 signing bonus, a moving allowance ranging from $9,000 to $15,000, and RCME funding.
Responsibilities
- Perform primary THA
- Perform primary TKA
- Run a fracture clinic once per week
- Provide general orthopedic surgical care
Qualifications
FRCSC - Eligible (Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada).
