Our FYiDoctors Edmonton - Callingwood clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as an Optical Associate to fill an existing vacancy.
This position is a full-time role working 30-40 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Saturday.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email.
- Educate patients on eyewear options tailored to their lifestyle, assisting with frame selection to ensure optimal value, quality, aesthetics, and performance.
- Interpret optical prescriptions provided by the optometrist.
- Perform frame and facial measurements, ensuring proper fit and positioning of new eyewear, as well as repairs and adjustments.
- Coordinate appointments, and prepare prescription printouts.
