Ops Specialist Job Purpose
The Operations Specialist plays a key role in supporting the delivery and administration of training programmes for the Operations Group. This includes vocational qualification, ROP & PIC/PM, refresher training, and other operational support functions to ensure staff competency and compliance with regulatory obligations.
Responsibilities- Assist the Executive in planning and executing the Vocational Qualification Programme (VQP).
- Conduct Rail Operating Procedure & Person-In-Charge/Possession Master (PIC/PM) training.
- Assist in Operations training under the SSO VQP program.
- Coordinate training logistics, materials, and scheduling to ensure smooth delivery.
- Provide on-site support during training sessions and assessments.
- Work closely with the Ops Support Training team, SSO management and PDO to ensure compliance with STEL Commuter Obligations (CO).
