Located out of our Pioneer 1 site, the individual in the Operations Technician role will report to the Offgas Operations Lead. The Operations Technician is responsible for day-to-day operational support for all plant equipment and assets. Operations Technicians are accountable for the safe, reliable, compliant and cost-effective monitoring of the plant equipment and assets related to their trade. The Operator is familiar with all aspects of operations and provides coaching and training to junior personnel.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
- Have a solid understanding of all processing units and the functions of each major piece of equipment.
- Carry out routine operating procedures and duties including starting and shutting down equipment as required, process monitoring and recording.
